The EPA’s War on Fossil Fuels Continues by Attacking Fracking

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 31, 2011, 11:50am

Thousands of harmless wells over half a century with only two bad apples, and the EPA wants to toss out the baby with the bath water.

“Over the past 50 years, tens of thousands of oil and gas wells have been drilled using hydraulic fracturing or “fracking” (6,000 recently in the Bakken shale region of North Dakota alone). During this period, only two significant cases have been brought to light suggesting contamination of sub-surface water — both by the EPA and both involving questionable if not outright fraudulent data.
The most recent case involves natural gas wells in the vicinity of Pavillion, Wyoming, a metropolis of 126 souls in a remote region in the central part of the state. The EPA was quick to make public its draft report of the Pavillion wells and made sure the report received extensive press coverage, thus trying the case in the court of public opinion before the facts were known.”

Message To President Obama – You Can’t Stop The Iranian Navy With Drones

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 31, 2011, 10:45am

President Obama has decided to give Iran a wide birth and let them posture up in the critical Straits of Hormuz. Establishing our presence there is a no-no to him. Heaven forbid we show military superiority.

From Newsmax – Respected Middle East expert Walid Phares says that Iran is playing a “very dangerous game” by threatening to close the vital Strait of Hormuz oil route – a move that the Obama administration is unprepared to stop.

“The Iranian regime does saber rattling, thinking this is a good strategy. But at the same time this is a very dangerous business because they may choose to stop shipments coming to the [Persian] Gulf or through the Gulf as a result of our sanctions and that of course is going to draw United States, Eurpoean, NATO and international response.”

“The Iranians are playing a very dangerous game here even by issuing those statements and by deploying some of their ships in the Gulf.”

And, Phares said, the Obama administration has clearly failed to contain the Iranian regime thus far. The situation in the Middle East is looking increasingly bleak just as the nation is pulling out of Iraq.

“The Obama administration tried. It had done some sanctions. It made statements, but the results are in what we see on the ground,” according to Phares. “The Iranian regime today is stronger than it was ever before.”

While the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq has been accomplished, Phares says that the country is now much more vulnerable to Iranian influence and is being used to help bolster Bashar Assad’s besieged government in Syria.

Let’s just keep fueling that fire, people.
Obama fails to contain Iran. By design?

Al Qaeda Quick To Fill Vacuum In Libya

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 31, 2011, 8:15am

From CNN Security Clearance –
Al Qaeda’s leadership has sent experienced jihadists to Libya in an effort to build a fighting force there, according to a Libyan source briefed by Western counter-terrorism officials.

The jihadists include one veteran fighter who had been detained in Britain on suspicion of terrorism. The source describes him as committed to al Qaeda’s global cause and to attacking U.S. interests.

Send in the clowns drones.

U.S. Economy Down, Canada Economy Up – And Without All Those Czars

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 30, 2011, 9:25am

Well, looky here! Canada takes a page out of our book of economics and low and behold, they are creating jobs, and making money.
You know who just turned down another opportunity for us to create tens of thousands of well-paying jobs, and increase energy independence from the Middle East.
He’s also the one stopping us from taking a page out of our OWN book.

Investors Business Daily – Away from the low growth and high regulation of an America under Washington’s thumb, our northern neighbor is economically strong. As 2011 ends, Canada has announced yet another tax cut — and will soar even more.

The Obama administration and its economic czars have flailed about for years, baffled about how to get the U.S. economy growing.

In reality, the president need look no further than our neighbor, Canada, whose solid growth is the product of tax cuts, fiscal discipline, free trade, and energy development. That’s made Canada a roaring puma nation, while its supposedly more powerful southern neighbor stands on the outside looking in.
Canada up, U.S. down

The Muslim Brotherhood = The Arab Spring

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 29, 2011, 9:10pm

“Our mission is to rule the world.”

Beware the Muslim Brotherhood. They are well-organized, and well-funded. They are winning elections in Egypt, and are being overlooked, ergo, being enabled by the West.

From Terrorism-Info.org – The Muslim Brotherhood is the most well-organized political force in Egypt today. It also has a broad socio-economic system (the da’wah), built up over the years as a function of the movement’s fundamental ideology. Once Mubarak’s regime was overthrown, the Muslim Brotherhood found itself in a forward position from which to attain power than for others who participated in the protests in Tahrir Square, as can be seen by its success in two of the three election rounds for the People’s Assembly.

The Obama Economic Policy – Crashing By Design

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 29, 2011, 5:35pm

The former Senator Stealth, now President Stealth, is one clever, correction, crafty hombre. He’s mixed a little Cloward-Piven with a little Saul Alinsky, to come up with the perfect way to level the economic playing field. Tear the system down, create huge dependence on government, increase its size, and cryptically write in a socialist agenda via a massively taxing healthcare program.

Obama Has Painted Himself Into A Corner

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 29, 2011, 8:00am

The president has “reached out” to Muslim countries using Bobby Kennedy’s fantasy Utopian society approach, “I dream of things that never were and say, ‘why not,'” only to get us…..nowhere. Obama either doesn’t understand, or just won’t accept that pandering and placating to the Islamic radicals will not make them less hostile to us. His clouded Leftist agenda is easily trumped by their world caliphate agenda. They don’t want to be in our club, they want us dead, or in THEIR club. Plain and simple, they say it all the time. He just keeps pitching friendship and caving into their demands; a mosque here, hijabs there. Makes one wonder just how much of Obama’s sympathy is really empathy. Obama – caught in his own web

Another Political Correctness Blemish – This Time It’s On The U.S. Army

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 28, 2011, 4:15pm

Political correctness has nearly lost us two wars. We regularly cave into to more CAIR demands on behalf of Muslims in the name of diversity. The US is the last country that should be forced to accept other faiths and religions. You don’t even have to ask, folks, you can just do. There are hundreds of mosques in the US, one might even be built on Ground Zero. (How many churches and temples are there in Saudi Arabia?) Now, the Army is allowing hijabs and turbans to be worn during JROTC. This IS only a slippery slope. Yes, these are are simply symbols of one’s adherence to a certain religion, so whats that big deal?
The big deal is this; the spread of the evil part Islam, Islamism, is insidious. It is a slow-growing cancer that knows how to work our system by appealling to our “good nature” and williness to accept different cultures, faiths and religions. Muslim extremists are a very strong, patient group who are willing to take the time to slither their way into a position to spread their twisted ideology. This is a perfect example of how it’s done.
Protocol is protocol, and the last place it should be relaxed is in the military. This is especially so since it is now known there are active duty radical Muslims throughout our military.

The Sec-Progs Attack on Tebow Just Proves Their Inverted World

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 27, 2011, 10:15am

Win, lose or draw, Tim Tebow brings out the worst of the secular Left. It’s amazing how just his mere mention of Jesus triggers an apoplectic response from the Bill Maher clan. Ironically, I support them just as much as I support the Occupy Wall Street lunatics. They offer us one very valuable thing; clarity.
The line between the Left and the Right has never been more clearly defined by those who despise capitalism and Christianity. Two of the values that built this country are being attacked by those who wish to break her down.
The assault on Tim Tebow only rears the Left’s inverted ugly head

The War on Christianity is Alive, and, Unfortunately Well

Posted from Mexico City by Fullcouch on December 26, 2011, 7:20pm

The Left aren’t too gung ho on religion. You know, the one where there’s a God, sets of rules, responsibilities, moral values, consequences, etc. Leftism IS their religion. We don’t need no stinking God, might as well be their mantra. So, as a result, they’ve decided that the way to diminish and dissolve religion, Christianity primarily, is to sell the sensitivity product to the public. Some people are offended by the mere mention of God, so we’ll just say “Happy Holidays” and say nothing when someone sneezes. Unfortunately this movement has reached into the core of our nations’ values and is changing us for the worse.
“No nation has ever existed or been governed without religion, nor can be,” Jefferson wrote to a friend. “The Christian religion is the best religion that has been given to man, and I, as Chief Magistrate of this nation, am bound to give it the sanction of my example.”
The war on Christmas is a war on Christianity
